After the success of the 2009 Study Tour to the US and Canada, there has been plenty of interest in a repeat performance. The 2010 tour to the US will cover Texas, the south east and the north east of the country.

It will take in some of the major areas for cropping and other agriculture in the States, including the Texas Panhandle, Tennessee and Georgia. We will meet with researchers and farm organisations in Dallas, Memphis, Atlanta, Washington and New York.

As usual, there will be time for some rest and relaxation to take in some iconic US destinations as Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, New York, New England, Niagara Falls and Yellowstone National Park.

We will meet some of the best farmers and researchers in the US and get a good handle on the biofuels situation which has become a major part of the agricultural scene, especially in west Texas.

Itinerary and bookings
Our previous tours to the USA have given us the necessary experience to tackle the logistical and financial challenges involved with group travel to this part of the world.

We are still waiting on airline and local operator quotes to finalise the cost of this itinerary. Full costings and an updated itinerary will be available in December, 2009.
